Guy M. Lussier

SHELDON -Guy Matthew Lussier, 65, son of Come and Simone Lussier, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on November 27, 2019, after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer.

Guy was born on March 22, 1954 in St. Albans, VT and was predeceased by his parents and brother Luke. He is survived by his wife Candace of 41 years and his children, William, Chantal and husband Patrick, and Rene Guy. Guy also has two grandchildren; Nicholas and Eliza and his surviving siblings are Rachel, Muriel and husband Terry, Mark and wife Mary, Daniel and wife Susan, Annette and husband Neil and several nieces, nephews, cousins and an uncle.

Guy graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School in 1972 and was in partnership with his brother Mark on the Missisquoi Valley View Dairy Farm in Sheldon, VT. Guy loved working with their herd of about 125 Ayrshires and raising young stock. He also enjoyed chopping corn, baling hay, and was a great mechanic for on-site machinery repairs. He loved his faith, family, racoon hunting, and traveling when time away from the farm allowed. Guy will be greatly missed.

We have been truly blessed to have him as part of our lives and he is now at peace and without pain.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4-7:00 PM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Enosburg.

In celebration of Guys life, bright colored clothes are encouraged.
