Harvey Boudreau

January 13, 1936 — March 10, 2008

FRANKLIN - Harvey L. Buck Boudreau, age 72, passed away Monday March 10, 2008 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans with his family at his side.

He was born in Franklin January 13, 1936 the son of the late Howard & Bernadette (Perron) Boudreau.

Harvey was a lifelong resident of Franklin and a 1954 graduate of Franklin High School. Following high school he entered the service serving with the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. His working career started with a local milk route, and in his spare time working in the woods logging. Finally working many years as a heavy equipment operator for Ralph Goodrich and was always complimented in his expertise of excavation.

Harvey was a fan of all sports and enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, hockey and baseball. He enjoyed playing softball having played in the Mens Softball League for Beauregard Equipment for many years. He also enjoyed going to Maine deer hunting, watching the Red Sox and NASCAR and most of all watching his family and friends play sports and could always be seen and heard from the sidelines routing for his favorite team.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Sally (Abell) Boudreau of Franklin; his children, Robin Boudreau and his wife Ann of Pheonix, AZ, Julie Belisle of Swanton, Jamie Boudreau and his wife Stacey of Franklin, and Jackie Holloway and her husband Mark of Dover, NH; 6 grandchildren, Chris Boudreau, Aimee Boudreau, Erica Hubbard, Chelsea Belisle, Jarrett Boudreau, and Hannah Boudreau; 6 great grandchildren, Halle Boudreau, Justus Boudreau, Trey Martin, Gavin Hubbard, Ava Hubbard, Kole Greeno; his brothers, Carroll Boudreau and his wife Norma of Sheldon Springs, and Richard Boudreau and his wife Joyce of Franklin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Boudreau.

A memorial service will be held Friday March 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Rev. Rich ODonnell officiating.
Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM.
