Iris T. Plouff

ST.ALBANS / ENOSBURG FALLS - Iris T. Plouff, age 86, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 18, 2014 at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Franklin on August 17, 1928 the daughter of the late Wilbur & Winifred (Jones) Towle.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Bushey and her husband Bruce of St. Albans, Kevin Plouff and his partner Lise Gates of Enosburgh, Denise Anderson and her husband Noel of Enosburg Falls, Alan Plouff and his wife Michele of Enosburgh, and Daren Plouff and his wife Jenny of Swanton; 14 grandchildren, Israel Plouff, Isaac Plouff, Irissa (Plouff) Choquette and her husband John, Ryan Plouff, Nathan Plouff, Lauren Plouff, Logan Plouff, Carter Anderson, Tanner Anderson, Bruce Bushey and his wife Laura, Lisa Bushey Lavalette, Lauri Bushey Samson and her husband Tim, Lesha (Gates) Rasco and her husband Joel, Lynn (Gates) Goldenberg and her husband Gregg; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Iris was predeceased by her husband, Rosaire Plouff; her brother & his wife, Harry & Jeannette Towle; her sister & her husband, Madeline & Thomas Messier; and her grandson, Luc Gates.

Iriss family wishes to thank the staff at the Northwestern Medical Center, Franklin County Rehab Facility and Franklin County Home Health Agency for the special care given to Iris during her illness.

In keeping with Iriss wishes a private graveside committal will be held in the South Franklin Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
