Isidore "Sonny" Bouchard II

RICHFORD– Isidore Allen “Sonny” Bouchard II, a resident of Perley Road, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the UVM Medical Center with his wife Joanne Bouchard, granddaughter, brother, and sister-in-law by his side.   

He was born in St. Albans on January 19, 1960 to the late Isidore and June (Ryan) Bouchard.

Sonny grew up and attended school in Swanton. On September 29, 1981 he married Joanne Corey. He worked as a mechanic for the majority of his life at the B & N Chainsaw Shop. Sonny was a quiet man and kept to himself. He loved being outside hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching boxing and putting together model car kits.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Bouchard of Richford; children, Joseph Bouchard and his wife Sarah, and Karry Friot and her husband Jody all of Enosburg; 12 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Sheila Taylor and her husband Art, Elaine Larrabee, Joan Ladue, Sue Edwards, and Teenie Hakey and her husband Monk; brother, Danny Bouchard and his wife Angie; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Sonny was predeceased by his grandson, Nathan Bouchard Howard; a brother, James Bouchard, and a sister, Majorie Bouchard.

Friends and family are invited to Sonny’s Life Celebration events on Thursday, December 2, 2021 to include visitation from Noon until 1:00PM and a funeral service at 1:00PM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson, Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450. Interment will take place in the spring in the Sheldon Village Cemetery.
