ST. ALBANS - James A. Ladieu, age 39, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 15, 2011 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
He was born June 25, 1971 in St. Albans the son of Duane & Debbie (Hoague) Ladieu.
James had worked for Harrison Concrete and enjoyed his work and his co-workers. He was a NASCAR fan with his favorite driver being Jimmie Johnson. His family will remember him as a good cook but more importantly kind hearted, generous and always willing to help others.
He is survived by his parents, Duane & Debbie Ladieu of Enosburg Falls; his son, Tyler Faukner of St. Albans; his step-children, Rusty, Billy & Cassie; his brother, David Ladieu and his wife Sonya of Colchester, his sister, Connie Ladieu and her fianc Harry Meiggs of St. Albans; his brother, Duane A. Ladieu and his fianc Anna Kane of Enosburg Falls; nieces, Cortney, Catherine, Meggan, Maggie, Tori, Claressa, and a nephew, Devin; a brother-in-law, Eric Sweet of Enosburg Falls; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Jason McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Missisquoi Cemetery in Enosburg Falls.
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the hour of the funeral.
