Jimmy Murray

ENOSBURGH - James "Jimmy" R. Murray, age 63, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

He was born in St. Albans on May 18, 1961 to the late William & Myrtle (Wagner) Murray.

A dedicated farmer and lover of the outdoors, Jimmy found joy in the simple things in life. Whether it was tending to his flower gardens, fishing in the nearby waterways, or gathering around with family and friends for a BBQ, Jimmy lived life to the fullest.

His passion for working on the farm, cutting wood, and caring for his lawn which he meticulously maintained like a soft carpet, reflected his strong work ethic and love for nature. Jimmy cherished every moment spent with loved ones, whether it was partying, camping, or gathering for family events.

Left to cherish his memory is his partner for over 35 years, Gaylord Horskin; his siblings, Doris Royea and her significant other John, Henry Murray and his wife Thelma, and Gary Murray and his wife Michelle; a brother-in-law, Charlie Russell; sister-in-law, Priscilla Murray; and many nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews, especially Bill & Colleen Russell, and Tammy & Bob Gaudette. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his siblings, Virginia King and her husband Robert, Laura Russell, Diane Murray, and Danny Murray.

Friends & family are invited to Jimmy's life celebration on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 to include a graveside memorial service at 11:00 AM at the West Enosburgh Cemetery, VT Route 108, Enosburgh, VT.
