ALBURGH – James E. Ouimette, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
He was born in St. Albans on June 12, 1958 to Janice (Vosburgh) Ouimette and the late Edward Ouimette.
Jimmy grew up and attended school in Swanton. He was a lover of music, particularly country, and he was a remarkable drummer in his younger years. Jimmy had several careers throughout his life, most notably he owned and operated a tree service, and a limo service. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping at the lake.
Jimmy is survived by his children, Jessica Davison of Hardwick, Heather Ouimette of West Virginia, James Ouimette of Winooski, Desiree Ouimette of Burlington, and Ricky Smith of Florida; mother, Janice Ouimette of Florida; siblings, Lisa Ouimette of St. Albans, John Ouimette and his wife Joan of London, KY, Ronnie Ouimette and his wife Lisa of West Swanton, and Nancy Beisbier of St. Augustine, FL; 11 grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. Jimmy was predeceased by his father, Edward Ouimette.
Jimmy’s family is planning to hold his life celebration next spring.
