Janet Paquette

SWANTON - Janet Paquette, age 86, passed away on Monday, December 9th, 2024 at her home in Swanton surrounded by her family.

Janet was born on March 3, 1938 to Frank and Myrtle Miner.

Janet was a vibrant and loving soul, whose kindness and thoughtfulness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Janet found immense joy in the great outdoors, often spending her days camping and fishing with her cherished family. She treasured the moments shared with loved ones, where laughter and love filled the air around the campfire. Her passions extended to watching NASCAR, where she could often be found cheering for her favorite drivers, and snowmobiling, where she felt the exhilarating rush of adventure.

Janet's spirit was one of unwavering warmth and compassion; she approached each day with a zest for life that was infectious. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she dedicated herself to nurturing those relationships, creating unforgettable memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.

Janet is survived by her husband, Raymond Paquette; children, Jerry Mcray, Randy Mcray, Stacey Olstrike, Jean Mcray, Mary Martell, Peter Paquette; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; siblings-in-law, Simone Jacobs, Richard Paquette, Rose Paquette, and Edward Paquette. Janet was predeceased by her parents, and her daughter Melody Therrien.

Friends and family will be invited to Janet's life celebration to include a graveside service on Friday, December 13th, 2024 at 12:00 PM at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Richford, VT.
