Jay was born December 6, 1959 in Hartford, CT the son of Beverly (Rose) Andoline and the late Louis Andoline. Besides his mother of Montgomery Center, Jay is survived by a brother, Leonard Rick Nadeau of Utah.
Jay was a resident of Montgomery Center for over the last 20 years and was a former resident of Avon, CT where he was a graduate of Avon High School. Jay was a Master Stone Mason in the area for many years and his artistic work can be seen in many homes around Vermont, but also in every other thing he touched.
Jay was a lover of the outdoors and utilized the wonders of water in whatever form it took: water, snow or ice, all of which are involved his many passions including skiing, having worked at Jay Peak in the Ski School and was considered a back country ski specialist, (AKA Dr. Adrenaline) who would rather hike than ride a chair lift. He was also considered an extraordinarily good wind surfer and a mountain bike technical rider. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing and liked to listen to baseball and talk sports.
His mother and friends will remember him most as a kind and gentle hearted person who enjoyed lifes simple pleasures and was a good listener, good teacher, good friend who didnt judge and tried to give human nature the benefit of the doubt, a person who loved his home and doing projects around the house, a person that enjoyed helping friends, and finally a person that was very punctual and if his friends were not on time for outdoor activities, he was gone.
