RICHFORD - Jean Madelaine Fuller, age 75, widow of Lloyd Pug Fuller, passed away Friday morning July 1, 2011 at the St. Albans Health Care & Rehab Facility in St. Albans.
She was born August 15, 1935 in Mansonville, Quebec the daughter of the late Verdine & Jeanette (Gendreau) Chappell.
Jean worked as a cook at The Crossing Restaurant and Brendas Restaurant both in Richford. She also worked at the sewing factory in Richford. Jean enjoyed playing Darts and watching sports, especially watching and supporting her children and grandchildren in their sporting events. She also loved her cats. Jean was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 12 of Richford.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Fuller and his wife Diane of Hedgesville, WV, David Crockett Fuller of Richford, Douglas Fuller of Richford, and Duane Fuller and his wife Kory of Valdosta, GA; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Joan Denneault of Montreal, Quebec and Marcia Chappell Dende-Bolongo and her husband Sylvan of Santa Rosa, CA; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Jean was predeceased by a brother, Jack Chappell; and a sister Judy LaRochelle.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main Street, Richford with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will follow in the Richford Center Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 PM until the hour of the funeral.
