Jean Toof

CLARKSVILLE, TN - Beverly Jean Westover Burnor Toof, passed away peacefully at her home in Clarksville, Tennessee on Thursday, November 11, 2021. 

Jean was born in Frelighsburg, Quebec, Canada on January 18, 1931, to the late Walter and Mabel Westover. 

Jean graduated from Enosburg High School.  She married K. James Burnor, and they co-owned and operated Jim and Jean’s ABC Market in Fairfield, Vermont.  Jim passed away in 1966 and she married Arthur D. Toof, Jr. In 1969.  Art and Jean owned and operated River Bend Farm in Fairfax, Vermont. 

Jean is survived by her daughter, Anne (Kenny Shelton), her son, Craig Burnor, and her daughter, Charlene Boudreau.

Family and friends are invited to Jean’s Life Celebration graveside service on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Riverside Cemetery, North River Street, Swanton, VT.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean’s memory may be made to the Colby Pattee Foundation, Inc., 659 Courser Road, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
