RICHFORD / BARRE - Jesse A. Wetherby, age 26, went into the arms of his Lord, with his loving family by his side on Sunday January 1, 2012, following a brief illness.
He was born November 18, 1985 in Burlington the son of Donald A. & Madeline P. (Paquette) Wetherby.
Jesse lived the life of the Differently Abled with faith, strength, courage, dignity, and always with the love of his family. As a youth, Jesse was a member of the Boy Scouts, and the Columbian Squires of All Saints Catholic Church. He had a way of bringing out the best in many people who met him. His smiles were contagious as his Mom always said they were worth a million . His crystal blue eyes and long eye lashes were the envy of many. For his senior project he grew out his wavy hair to donate to Wigs for Kids program (hair donated for cancer patients). Upon graduating from Richford Jr./Sr. High School in 2007 he moved to Barre to live at the Hill Street Group Home. Jesse was a humorous young man who enjoyed listening to music, being read to, looking at colorful lights, rooting for his Patriots team, and sitting on the porch at home feeling the warm summer sun while listening to natures sounds. He also loved visiting his family, especially being with his nephews.
Jesse leaves his Parents, Donald & Madeline Wetherby of Richford; a Sister, Amy Wood and her husband Jarred of Richford; a Brother, Isaac Wetherby and his girlfriend Samantha Stevens of Burlington; his Nephews, Xavier, Aiden and Conner Wood who were his best buddies.
