Jessica Lynn Brigham, 35, of Main Street, North Woodstock, died Saturday, August 30th, 2008 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, following a tragic car accident. Jessica has left us and is with her best friend and Sister Diane. Jessica was formerly of Bakersfield, VT, she also lived in the Plymouth and Ashland area before moving to North Woodstock 3 years ago.
She was born in St. Albans, Vermont on April 17, 1973, the daughter of Jerry and Jane (Lavery) Brigham of Bakersfield, VT,
Jessica was a Graduate of Enosburg High School class of 1991; she attended the University of Vermont and was an honor graduate of Johnson State College with a degree in education.
Jessica worked as a Substitute Teacher in the Laconia area. Most recently she was head teller at Northway Bank in Plymouth. She also worked for a time at Merchant Bank of Enosburg, VT.
Besides her parents Jessica leaves the love and joy of her life her three month old son, Sebastian Albert & his father and her companion Steven Eldred of North Woodstock, two brothers; Jason Brigham of Jefferson, and Jonathan Brigham of Bakersfield, VT, her paternal grandmother; Mildred Brigham of Bakersfield, VT and special nephew Dillon Brigham, her God parents; James and Judy Smith of St. Albans, VT; several aunts and uncles. Jessica also leaves her extended family Dawn, Jackie & Jessi Day of NH and James & Ann Eldred and the entire Eldred family of MA; many cousins and special friends in VT & NH.
Visiting hours will be held at the Edmund Fournier Funeral Home 144 Main St., North Woodstock on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
Visiting hours will also be held at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, VT on Wednesday from 6-8 PM
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Fairfield, VT on Thursday September 4, 2008 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bakersfield, Vermont.
