RICHFORD - Jody Fletcher, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Richford.
He was born in St. Albans on November 2, 1964 to the late Lynn Buster & Joyce Jo (Farrar) Fletcher.
Jody lived in Richford all of his life. He enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing or just sitting by the river. He was a talented musician and loved Blue Grass music but above all he loved spending time with his children.
He proudly leaves behind 2 children, Macie and Zack Fletcher and their mother, Kelly Thompson all of Richford; his siblings, Kelli Peters and her significant other, Mike Lawyer, Aaron Fletcher and his wife Vicki and Hailey Jewett and her significant other Jamie Latimer all of Richford; nieces & nephews, Amanda, Ben & Mary, Amy, Emily & Riley, Jake, Samantha, Kati, Emma, Evan, Janessa and Jamie; several great nieces & nephews; an uncle, Noel Fletcher and his wife Jan; 2 aunts, Joyce Fletcher of Richford and Geraldine Toot DAgostino of Enosburgh; his former mother-in-law, Linda Thompson of Enosburgh and former sister-in-law, Jodi Thompson of North Troy; a faithful dog, Thor and several cousins and close friends including, the Lossman family, Stephanie & Scott, Johnny B, Neil, Larry, Danny, Tim, Rick, Ron & Rod. Besides his parents, Jody was predeceased by a close uncle, Keith Fletcher; a special friend and brother-in-law, Timothy Peters; a close friend, Louis Peanut Gilbeau and former father-in-law, Norman Ikey Thompson.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:30 AM in the Richford Center Cemetery, South Richford Rd., Richford with Rev. Lyle Willey officiating. There will be no visitation.
