ST. ALBANS BAY – Joe (Marvin) Bluto passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2021 in St. Albans, at 46 years old.
Joe was born in St. Albans, VT on July 30, 1974.
He attended St. Albans Town Elementary School and went on to graduate high school from BFA St. Albans. Some of his favorite things to do were spending time with family and friends, especially his granddaughter "Little Miss. Brooklyn", riding and playing with anything with a motor. He was a longtime member of the Green Mountain 4X4 Club and of the Abenaki Nation of Missisquoi Swanton. Joe never passed up an opportunity to go swimming, Muddin’, or to do a burnout.
He leaves behind his mother Debra Bluto, his father Marvin Bluto and his wife June Bluto, his grandmother Shirley Patterson, his sister Jeannie Cline an brother-in-law Michael Cline, his brother Rick Bluto and significant other Mechelle Roberts, his daughter Rebecca Jo Bluto, his granddaughter Brooklyn Mae Bluto "Papa's girl", his son Joseph Michael Bluto, his daughter Brittney Lynn Lockerby, his grandson Dylan Anthony Gregoire, Nephews Randy Bluto, Cody Johnson and wife Courtney Johnson, Dustin Johnson (Godson) and wife Britny Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Kaeden Bluto, Niece Michelle Cline, Great Nieces Trinity Johnson, Nevaeh Kaltz, Great Nephews Ryker Quimby, Jeremiah Johnson, Remington Cline, Christopher Marinoff Jr. and many family and friends. His loyal dog Tyrant. Joe was predeceased by his Aunt Rebecca Patterson, Grandfathers Clifford Patterson and Oison Bluto, and Dad Marcel Baril, and several other family and friends.
Joe’s family welcomes family and friends to join them at a Circle of Life Abenaki Celebration at the VFW, 353 Lake Rd, Saint Albans, VT 05478 on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 2-6:00 PM. Bring a dish to share if you wish.
