MONTGOMERY CENTER - \tJohn Edward Bloomer, passed away the morning of Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at his home following a struggle with cancer.
He was born in 1941 to Edward Bloomer and Margaret (Aldrich) Bloomer in St. Albans where he graduated from Bellows Free Academy.
In 1962 he married Diana Gratton and began his 30 year career as a full-time Vermont National Guard Technician. After his retirement he had the great joy and privilege of being the herdsman of a fallow deer farm in Montgomery. He was an avid deer hunter and loving father.
He is survived by his wife, Diana; his daughters, Karen LaFlam of St. Albans, Tammi Lamonda and her husband Richard of Richford, and Patricia Bloomer of Williamstown; his father-in-law, Raymond Gratton of Montgomery; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; several aunts & uncles.
In keeping with Johns wishs there will be no funeral services or visiting hours.
