John Nichols II

ALBURGH - John M. Nichols II., age 72, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at his home in Alburgh.

John was born on September 12, 1952 to Richard and Lois Nichols.

John loved the outdoors from hunting to commercial fishing where he always wanted to have a full pail. He enjoyed socializing with many people he would see from time to time. Boat rides out fishing with the kids, and numerous memories made were always his favorite. In his earlier years, he enjoyed tending to his vegetable gardens and strawberry patches. He was always known for his hardworking effort throughout his life.

John is survived by his children, Miranda Sturdavant, Misty Parker, John Nichols III, and Jeremiah Nichols and partner Dora Letourneau; grandchildren, Blaise and Zayne Nichols, and John Nichols IV; brothers, Richard Nichols and Paul Nichols. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Lois Nichols; siblings, Mark and Jamie Nichols; and wives, Mary Nichols and Tina McSweeney.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
