BERKSHIRE - Jordan M. Marsha, age 23, lost his lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
Jordan was born August 18, 1991 in Burlington the son of Wendy Marsha & Randy Parker.
Jordan was a 2009 graduate of BFA St. Albans. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, and playing his guitar. Jordan was simply impossible to ignore. With a perpetually sly smile, he made sure he was the center of attention. He was high-minded, authentic, and old-fashioned. He lived each day with a restless impatience, constantly reinventing himself. His daily life was full of misadventure with a plausible rationale for every one of his questionable actions. He was a hapless romantic, with deep love for his dog, his family, his friends, his healthcare providers, and his women in that order. He will be forever remembered for his shameless, mischievous, and gut-busting sense of humor. His antics are legendary. Jordan wanted to make a difference. Please share your love of him by encouraging the gifts that make each one of us special and unique; then do something utterly hysterical for some unsuspecting soul!
He is survived by his mother, Wendy Marsha and her partner Brian Tatro of Berkshire; his father, Randy Parker and his partner Gloria of Burlington; his siblings, Eric Marsha and his girlfriend Leigh Ann Supernault of Swanton, Felicia Belknap and her husband Eric of St. Johnsbury, Randy Johnson and his girlfriend Brittney Lewis of Winooski, and Amanda Johnson of Winooski; step-siblings, Tiffany Couture and her husband Brian of Enosburg, Derek Tatro of St. Albans, and Brian Tatro of Georgia; his maternal grandmother, Joan Demag and her husband Albert of Jericho; paternal grandmother Beverly Terrier and her husband Gary of Middlebury; and maternal great grandmother, Helen Pecor of Essex; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins including, Justin & Anne Marsha of West Virginia, Trevor & Liz Marsha of Fairfax, Evan Marsha & Hillary Bessette of Franklin, and Jeremy & Jennifer Pratt of St. Albans. Jordan was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Charles Marsha and his wife Teresa Tilton; and his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Parker.
Jordans family would like offer a special thank you to his friends, Tracey Wagner and Janice Belrose-Airoldi.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Lyle Willey officiating.
