Richford/Rutland - Joyce Norma Durenleau, 76, a former longtime resident of Richford, passed away on Monday morning, July 18, 2016 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Joyce was born on November 19, 1939 in Highgate, the daughter of Donald and Barbara (Minkler) Morgan. She was married to Robert Dobby Durenleau who died on April 12, 2012.
During her lifetime, Joyce had been employed at several area sewing factories. She enjoyed music and had played base guitar in a band. She also enjoyed crafts, knitting, watching soap operas, word puzzles and rides through the countryside.
Joyce is survived by her children and their spouses, Darlene and Real Chalifoux of Richford, Denise and Paul Martin, Sr. of Rutland, Debra Reid of Richford, Diane and David Royea of Newport, Doreen Durenleau of Fairfield and Donald Durenleau of Richford; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings and their spouses, Bruce and Beth Morgan, Edward and Debbie Morgan, James Morgan, Nora Unwin and Ramona and Spencer Cline.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce was predeceased by her brother Donald Morgan and his wife Donna and her sister-in-law Wendy Morgan.
Friends are invited to call at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Avenue in Enosburg Falls on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Interment, with prayer of committal, will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Highgate.
