Joyce Hoose

HIGHGATE - Joyce A. Hoose, age 81, passed away on Thursday, December 14th, 2023 at the Northwestern Medical Center.

Joyce was born on February 27th, 1942 to Leonard and Rose (Lapan) Barratt.

Joyce attended and graduated from Swanton Highschool in 1960. In 1961 she married James Hoose, and they had three children. She appreciated her life as a Homemaker caring for her children and grandchildren over the years. She loved making pies and doughnuts for all her family. She enjoyed going to play Bingo at the local parish halls.

Joyce is survived by her son, Randy Hoose; daughters, Sandra Fontaine and her husband Phil, and Ann Rosenzweig; brother, Brian Barratt; grandchildren, Ricky Emery (Kelli) and Kyla MacKenzie (Alex), and Erika Rosenzweig.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Rose Barratt; husband, James Hoose; and sister-in-law, Christine Barratt.

Family and friends will be invited to a Graveside memorial service in Spring 2024 to be held at Riverside Cemetery.
