ENOSBURG - Joyce E. Randall, age 77, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
She was born September 11, 1936 in St. Albans the daughter of the late Malcolm & Blanche (Barrett) Garland.
Joyce graduated from B.F.A St. Albans class of 1954, that same year she married Curtis Randall on July 3. Joyce was a cook for the Dairy Center for over 30 years. She used her talent to host many family gatherings and nobody left hungry. In her spare time Joyce enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. She also liked to read, particularly Stephen King novels, and keep track of family genealogy.
She is survived by her children, Diane & Duane Delisle of Richford, David & Tammy Randall of Berkshire, Douglas Randall & Brenda Mossey of Richford, Daniel & Sharon Randall, Dean Randall all of Enosburg and Patricia Shatney of Deland, FL; her grandchildren, Jamie & Mike Farrar, John Domina & Chelsea Minor, Joey Randall, Jolene Randall & Jeff Shover, Justin Randall, Mike & Abbie Randall, Josh Randall & Taylor Tibbits, Nicole & Jared Willey, Joyce Patterson, Kimberly Delisle & Stuart Arbuckle and Richard Delisle & Evelyn Therrian; 16 great grandchildren; her brother, Carroll & Brenda Garland of Oxen Hill, MD; a niece, Candy Thomas; special friend, Lila Bennett; former son & daughter-in-law, Gary Domina of Berkshire and Tammie Day of Enosburg Falls and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Curtis Randall; grandson, Mark Randall; her siblings, Janice Lapan and John & Roy Garland and her faithful companion, Wizard.
Joyces family would like to thank the staffs from the Franklin County Rehab Facility and the Northwestern Medical Center, especially the concierge service, for the outstanding care given to her.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, Horseshoe Rd., Berkshire with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 2:00 until the hour of the service. Interment will take place this summer in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Enosburg Falls.
