Kathy Hayes

ST. ALBANS - Kathy D. Hayes, age 71, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

She was born in Van Nuys, California on May 1, 1952 to the late Kenneth Parsell and Delores (Becker) Peacock.

Kathy loved spending time at the ocean and going camping. Her favorite hobbies included coloring, reading and listening to music. She loved the Eagles and her favorite song was Witchy Woman.

She is survived by her three daughters, Shawn Parsell, Laura Barney and her husband James, and Venessa Scott; nine grandchildren, Shane Parsell, Brent Parsell, Christopher Tessier, Layla Tessier, Samuel Barney, Nicholas Barney, Deitra Scott, Anna Rose Scott, and Nathaniel Scott; her sister, Connie Weber; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her brother, Danny Parsell.

In keeping with Kathy's wishes, her cremated remains will be scattered in the Atlantic Ocean.
