Kirk Chevalier

SWANTON - Kirk E. Chevalier, 63 passed away suddenly while walking his beloved dog, Tucker, on July 2, 2023.

Kirk was born in St. Albans on April 18, 1960, to the late Raymond and Estelle (LaBier) Chevalier and was a lifelong resident of Swanton. In 1978, Kirk earned his GED and in 1979 enlisted in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge in 1981 at FT. Carson, CO. He later became an assistant carpenter for 18 years. He also was an avid outdoorsman with a specific interest in fishing.

Kirk was predeceased by his wife Deirdre (McDonough) Chevalier of Essex Junction, VT, and is survived by his loving daughter Jessica and his two grandchildren Taliyah and Jordan Byrd of whom he loved very much.

Kirk will be missed by his brothers and sisters Michael and Elaine Chevalier, Rock Chevalier, Sharon "Cindy" and Marcel Loiselle, and Jane and Troy Staples. He also leaves many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and a great great nephew.

Kirk will be greatly and sorrowfully missed by everyone. May God bless and keep Kirk.
