ALBURGH – Larry “Baggy” Santor, age 75, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2021 surrounded by his entire loving family in Alburgh.

He is survived by his children, Ronnie “Rupert” Santor and his wife Tracy, Larry “Moose” Santor and his wife Penny, Scott “Zeke” Santor and his wife Jen, Laurie Lafar and her husband Rick “Buck”, Kim Knight and her husband Willie, and Chandell Cook-Lemieux and her partner Howard; grandchildren, Autumn, Matthew, Angela, Amanda, Adam, Larissa, Kortni, Dakota, Keithen, Desiree, Devon, Kyle, Kara, Kaitlyn; 23 great grandchildren, with one on the way; very special sister, Flora Greeno; brothers-in-law, Bernard Camley and John Bousquet; sisters-in-law, Wilma Bousquet and Sherry Cook; special grand dogs, Jingles and Skye; best friend, like a brother, John Plante; special family friend, Louise Prairie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Baggy was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Pauline (Camley) Santor; his parents; and brothers-in-law, Robert Greeno, Bruce Cook and Donald Camley.
Baggy was born and raised in Alburgh. He attended school in Alburgh until the 11th grade and then started his working career. He worked for Rudy Prairie as a logger for 45 dedicated years, and for many other companies as well. His work ethic was something to admire. He married Pauline (Camley) on March 5, 1966, and they started a wonderful family. Baggy was an avid horseshoe player, and all who ever played with him knows exactly what “Baggy Bait” is! He also loved to play poker, and Parcheesi. His family will attest that he was hard, if not impossible to beat, he played to win! Baggy also loved to candlepin bowl with Pauline. Monday Nights were always reserved for Monday Night Raw, he loved to watch wrestling. One of the family’s best memories was going anywhere with Aunt Flora and Uncle Bobby, no matter what they did or where they went, they had fun. Baggy bagged too many deer to count in his hunting days, and he was pretty proud of that! The world would be a better place if it had more kind souls like Baggy’s.
