BERKSHIRE - Lawrence A. Larry Chalifoux, age 70, died peacefully Thursday afternoon August 31, 2007 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington surrounded by his loved ones.
\tLarry was born February 9, 1937 in Montgomery the son of the late Francis & Clementine (Chalifoux) Harrod. Larry is survived by his loving wife Mary (Mason) Chalifoux of 43 years; a son David and his fiance Carol Robtoy of St. Albans; one grandson, Ryan D. Chalifoux of Enosburg Falls; his siblings include, Penny Couture of Milton, Jim Harrod of Milton, and Doug Harrod his wife Jeanne of Franklin; and all of his special nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his parents.
\tLarry enjoyed life to the fullest. Driving truck, welding and work in general were his true passions. Larry also avidly enjoyed visiting with friends and going out to eat with friends on the week-end.
\tLarry was always a man of very few emotional words but was compassionate beyond thought. On the other hand if Larry had something to express no-one was ever left wondering.
\tLarry will always and forever be remembered for his over whelming generosity & willingness to help others. The list of lives he has touched is endless, and the memories infinite. God speed Husband, Dad, Bompa, Family and friends.
\tA mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday morning September 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
\tVisiting hours will be held Monday evening from 7-9 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave.,, Enosburg Falls
