Leonard "Lenny" W. Elliott

HIGHGATE – Leonard “Lenny” W. Elliott, age 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.   

He was born in Saint Albans on December 9, 1956.

Lenny married the one and only love of his life, Jean (Lockerby) 42 years ago. They were a perfect example of soul mates who never left one another’s side. Lenny and Jean became proud parents in 1979 and Crystal completed their family. He has worked as a warehouse associate manager at Mylan for the past 30 years. Lenny was a quiet man who was respected by all who knew him. He would do anything for anyone and had the kindest and most honest soul. His love for his family and friends was obvious to those he held close. He will be remembered by his family as a “wannabe Comedian,” he always loved making people laugh. Lenny was beyond proud of his 69 Roadrunner that he rebuilt. He and Jean enjoyed traveling together to different beaches and oceans and enjoying sharing that time with family. The community lost a genuinely remarkable man and the grief will be felt by many.

He is survived by his best friend and wife, Jean Elliott of Highgate; his daughter Crystal Elliott of Milton; his most beloved granddoggie, Onyx; his feline companion, Shadow; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Lenny’s family invites you to join them for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 2-6:00 PM at the VFW in Swanton, 8 Merchants Row. Covid rules will need to be followed so please bring your masks.
