RICHFORD - Lesley Anne Combs, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 18, 2013 while visiting her sister in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
She was born January 1, 1972 in Burlington the daughter of Melvin & Esther (Johnson) Combs.
Lesley loved her kittys, flowers, birds, bowling and TY collection. Her love of animals led her to volunteer at the Franklin County Humane Society. Les was an honorary member of the Richford American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her parents, Melvin & Esther Combs of Richford; a sister, Yolande Lonnie Oertli and her husband Roger of Lethbridge, Alberta, CA; a brother, Jason Combs of Richford; Aunts and Uncles, Donna & Richard Ryea, Homer & Nadine Wetherby, Lorraine Jewett, Alice Combs, Delbert Jr. & Tammy Combs, Ronald Combs, Lulah Lavery; great uncle, Orval & Mary Combs; her good friends, Kathy & Bill Gaston and family and Laurel Meunier; several friends & cousins and her Maine Coon Cat, Andy. Lesley was predeceased by her grandparents, Clyde & Evelyn Johnson and Delbert Sr. & Mildred Combs and an aunt, Regina Stewart.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating.
