ENOSBURG FALLS - Lillian S. Garrett, age 94, wife of Wareth Buster Garrett, passed away Saturday January 13, 2007 at the Haven Health Care Facility in St. Albans.
\tShe was born November 28, 1912 in Montgomery the daughter of the late Albert & Edna (Chalifoux) Lumbra.
\tLillian was a resident of Enosburg most of her life. Along with her husband Buster, they made their home and farmed in West Enosburg and in 1947 they moved to Enosburg Falls. Her work through the years consisted of laundering, chambermaid at the Quincy Hotel, hot lunch agent at the Enosburg Falls High School, and sewing & alterations for Depaties Clothing Store. Lillian enjoyed the family camp at Lake Carmi and especially loved the time spent fishing with Buster.
\tShe is survived by husband, Buster Garrett of Enosburg Falls, they were married April 29, 1933; her daughter & son-in-law, Avis & Normand Gervais of Enosburg Falls; her grandchildren, Steven Gervais and his companion, Cathy Godin of Enosburg Falls, David Gervais of Springfield, MA, Michael Gervais of So. Burlington, and Judy Gervais of Sanford, NC; her great grandchildren, David Gervais, Garrett Gervais, Casey (Gervais) Ramsey, Caitlin Gervais, Tyler Gervais, Simeon Gervais, Whitney Gervais, and Christopher DeRosia; her sister, Beulah Raine of Enosburg Falls; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Roger Lumbra; and 2 sisters, Gladys Rogerson & Jessie Laflam.
\tA celebration of Lillians life will be held Saturday January 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Enosburg Falls United Methodist Church with Pastor Cheryl Heater officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the West Enosburg Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
