ESSEX JCT. / RICHFORD - Lillian M. Salisbury, age 101, passed away Tuesday morning August 16, 2011 at the Franklin County Rehab Facility in St. Albans.
She was born in St. Armand Est, Quebec Canada on December 27, 1909 the daughter of the late Howard & Abbie (Steinhour) Royea.
Lillian had been a longtime resident of Essex & Richford and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Essex Jct. She also enjoyed gardening, painting and sewing.
She is survived by a niece and her husband, Agnes & Edwin Billings of Highgate; a great niece Norma Jean Tatro of Richford; and many great great nieces & nephews. Besides her parents Lillian was predeceased by her husband Donald Salisbury and a brother, Delbert Royea.
Funeral services will be held Thursday August 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Jon Bly officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Mountain View Cemetery in Essex Jct.
