FAIRFIELD - Linda Kay Baker, age 66, passed away Wednesday evening February 9, 2011 at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Fairfield on April 4, 1944 the daughter of the late Clifford Page Sr. & Eleanor (Morris) Page.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Fairfield and a 1962 graduate of Brigham Academy. She was employed at I.B.M. for 30 years retiring in 1995 at which time she worked for another 10 years at Labatt & Anderson in St. Albans. Linda enjoyed cooking, collecting cook books, anything to do with wolves, M&Ms, hunting and animals especially her dogs, Muffin & Pretty Boy. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Kenneth Lawrence of Fairfield; her children, Troy Baker and his wife Carol of St. Albans, Ty Baker and his wife Wanda of Benson, and Kendra Baker of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, Damian & Coty Baker, Ty Baker Jr., Josh & Jayla Robtoy and Kaylie Colson ; her brother, Douglas Page of Fairfield; her sisters-in-law, Bernita Wheelden and her husband Stuart of HinsdalE, NH & Dorothy Page of Liberty Hill, TX; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brothers, Clifford Page Jr. & Howard Page; and her sisters, Beverly Page & Luanne Page.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave, Enosburg Falls. Interment will be later this spring in the Sheldon Village Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the funeral.
