RICHFORD - \tLionel L. Duke Tatro age 81, passed away Sunday morning, November 25, 2012 at the St. Albans Health & Rehab facility in St. Albans with his family at his side.
He was born September 29, 1931 in Montgomery the son of the late Maurice & Ada (Tatro) Tatro.
Lionel was a resident of Richford most of his life. He worked at Blue Seal Feeds for 40 years retiring in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, boating, watching Westerns, playing darts and mowing his lawn. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Gloria Duffy St. Amour and her husband John of Alburgh, Lorraine Greenwood and her husband Rockland of Albany, Nancy Baisley and her husband Jeff of Richford, Brenda Deslandes and her husband Raymond of Jay, Carol Fuzzy Tatro and her companion Alan Donna of Montgomery, and Patricia Gregoire and her husband Patrick of Enosburg Falls; his grandchildren, Michelle & Lance Fife, Lori & Dan Greenwood, and Patrick & Jason Gregoire; many great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Lionel was predeceased by his wife, Dora (Taylor) Tatro on November 18, 1981; his brothers, Arnold, Francis, Orson, Leonard, Gordon & Wayne Tatro; his sister, Betty Mason; and his son-in-law, Clifton Kippy Wetherby.
Lionels family wish to thank the staff at the Northwestern Medical Center, St. Albans Health & Rehab, Franklin County Home Health Agency and his special niece Diane Robtoy for the loving care given to Lionel during his illness.
In keeping with Lionels wishes, graveside services will be private and held at the convenience of the family at the Richford Center Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
