SHELDON– Lisa M. Lampman, age 52, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 unexpectedly at her home.
She was born in Sheldon on April 19, 1970 to the late Francis and Edna (Martin) Lampman
Lisa grew up in Alburgh and attended Alburgh elementary school and graduated High School from Missisquoi Valley Union in Swanton, Vermont.
Lisa would give the shirt off her back for anyone, and always had a friendly smile. Lisa had a love for cooking like no other, whether it was a holiday meal or a simple weeknight dinner it was always her honor to do the cooking. She enjoyed camping at Lake Carmi with family and friends. Outside was her happy place in the flower gardens or harvesting vegetables. Fishing- no matter the weather was a favorite of hers to do with her son Nathan. Her grandchild Ellie was a huge part of her life, she loved making her breakfast and giving her a bath.
She is survived by her partner of over 20 years, Alice Martell of Sheldon; son, Nathan Gaudette and significant other Ashley Clark of Sheldon; granddaughter and light of her life, Eleanor Louise Gaudette; foster son, Ben Kay Jr.; brothers, Francis, Michael, Armand and his wife Sandy, and Alan and his wife Stephanie and their children; sisters, Donna and her husband Kent and their children, Laurie and her daughters, and Nancy and her sons, Brenda Armstrong and her daughters; long time close friend and father of her son, Randy Gaudette; mother-in-law, Rose Mathieu who was like a second mom to her; and many other family and friends. Besides her parents, Lisa was predeceased by two brothers, Ronnie, and Leonard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lisa’s memory may be made to National Emphysema Foundation, 128 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851.
Family and friends are invited to Lisa’s Life Celebration events to include visitation on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 2:00PM – 3:00PM at The Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488 and a graveside service on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 2:00PM at Riverside Cemetery in Swanton.
