Lt. Com. Clarence "Bud" Aldrich, USN Ret.

RICHFORD - Lt. Com. Clarence E. Bud Aldrich Jr. USN Ret., age 87, passed away Tuesday morning July 19, 2011 at Our Lady of the Meadows Community Care Home in Richford.
He was born January 31, 1924 in Berkshire, VT the son of the late Clarence E. Aldrich Sr. and Gertrude A. (Combs) Aldrich.
Bud was a 26 year veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII, Korean War and Viet Nam.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Crossland) Clawson of Richford; his son, David Larry Aldrich of California; and several grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bud was predeceased by his 1st wife, Sally S. (Andrews) Aldrich on October 20, 1996; and his son, Clarence E. Aldrich III on February 7, 2011.
In keeping with Buds wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services or visiting hours. He will be laid to rest with his wife Sally in the Calvary Church Cemetery in East Berkshire.
