Enosburgh Center - LUCILLE M. FORTIN, age78, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday July 22, 2007 surrounded by her loving family, following her courageous battle against cancer.
Lucille was born in St. Albans, VT on November 8th, 1928, daughter of the late Albert and O. Rena (Campbell) Morin.
\tLucille was employed for many years as a nurses aid at the Holiday House in St. Albans. She enjoyed gardening, reading, watching movies, decorating, and painting with her many adorable four legged companions whom she loved dearly.
\tShe is survived by her two sons, James Fortin and his wife Cindy of Plano, TX, and David Fortin and his wife Sandy of Lake Havasu City, AZ; three daughters, Carolyn St. Pierre and her husband Michael of Enosburg Center, Cynthia Deschamps and her husband David of Wasilla, AK, and Susan Clasemann and her husband Greg of Prescott, AZ. Eleven grandchildren and Eight great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph J. Fortin in 1983.\tShe was also predeceased by a sister, Helen Church, and a grandson, Kevin Fortin.
\t I keeping with Lucilles wishes, a graveside service will be private and held at the convenience of the family at the Sheldon Village Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
\tIn lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, 30 Sunset Meadows, St. Albans, VT 05478
