RICHFORD/ENOSBURG FALLS- Marcey Marie Godin, age 55, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington with her family by her side.
She was born in Burlington on June 19, 1968. She grew up in the towns of Richford and Enosburg and attended Enosburg Elementary School.
During her life, Marcey worked as a laborer in the construction industry for Blow & Cote, where she worked alongside many family members for several years. Those who were fortunate enough to know Marcey remember her for her kind and caring nature. Her infectious laughter and warm smile brought joy to the lives of those she loved. She had a passion for camping, enjoyed spending evenings around a campfire, and cherished moments spent playing poker, BINGO, and pull tickets. Marcey found solace in completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and her artistic flair was evident through her passion for beaded art. She also had a deep affection for elephants, finding joy in anything related to them.
Marcey always held onto hope for a better future and remained determined to make positive changes in her life and was eager to embark on a journey of recovery and personal growth.
She is survived by her children, Jeremy Robitaille, and Megan Deslisle; mother, Bonnie (Dunakin) Robitaille; grandchildren, Justice Delisle, Jeremiah Delisle, Norman Dibler, and Jasper Dibler; siblings, Melissa Nelson and her companion Craig Jackson, Norman Robitaille Jr. and his companion Jaime Harris, and Annie Robitaille; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Norman Robitaille Marcey was predeceased by her grandparents, Harold & Madelyn (Corey) Dunakin, and Maurice & Jeannette (St. Julef) Robitaille.
