RICHFORD - Margaret M. Paquette, age 90, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
She was born December 1, 1921 in Sanford, ME the daughter of the late Hermengil & Marion (Gagne) Durenleau.
Margaret was raised in Franklin, VT and in 1942 she married Henry Paquette. Margaret and Henry made their home in the Richford and Berkshire areas. She enjoyed bowling with Henry, going on trips and knitting and crocheting in her spare time. Margaret also loved to prepare meals for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, the more there were; the better she liked it.
She is survived by her children, and their spouses, Lawrence & Madelene Paquette of East Richford, Raymond & Janet Paquette of Swanton, Simone & Dennis Jacobs of Richford, Richard & Stella Paquette of East Berkshire, Rose Paquette of Richford and Edward Paquette and his significant other Terry Noyes of Richford; 15 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren; her brothers and their spouses, Robert & Joyce Durenleau of Richford, and Daniel & Doris of Franklin; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Henry Paquette in 2005; her sisters Yvette Durenleau and Madelane Salisbury; her brothers, Donat, Norman and Rene Durenleau.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 152 Main St., Richford with Rev. Karl Hahr celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Richford.
Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 5-8 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
