Enosburg Falls - Margaret Mae Ploof, 91, passed away at the Franklin County Rehab Center in St. Albans on Thursday morning, June 16, 2011.

Margaret was born on May 30, 1920 in Gorham, ME the daughter of Everett and Berdina (Stetson) Jenne.

Margaret especially enjoyed her home and family. She was very proud of the fact that she was the eldest of 5 living generations of her family. She made a number of crafts for her grandchildren as well as other hobbies including gardening, watching birds, cats, dogs. Margaret was a former member of the Ladies of St. Anne.

Surviving are 7 children, Richard and his fiance Shirley Taylor of Enosburg, Phillip and his wife Cindy of Wimauma, FL, Edmond and his wife Fredda of East Berkshire, Theresa Snider and her husband Cedric of Richford, Roger and his wife Betsy of Enosburg, Donald and his wife Janice of Newport and Wayne of Williston; a brother Dorwin Jenne of Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Kathleen Gagne and her husband Denis of Highgate; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband Oscar Ploof; a sister and her husband Harriet and Charles Longley; a daughter-in-law, Linda and a great great grandson Austin.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00 at St. John the Baptist Church in Enosburg Falls with the Rev. Daniel Jordan, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Franklin. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave. in Enosburg Falls on Saturday morning, June 18, from 9:00 to 10:30.

Should friends desire, gifts in Margarets memory may be made to Brownway Residents Activity Fund, 328 School St., Enosburg Falls or Franklin Co. Rehab Residents Activity Fund, 110 Fairfax Rd, St. Albans, VT 05478.

Margarets family would like to express appreciation to the staff of Franklin County Rehab for the care and compassion they extended during her stay there.
