ST. ALBANS - Marion A. Cook, age 83, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Franklin County Health & Rehab Center in St. Albans.
She was born in Highgate on June 28, 1935 to the late Elwood Sr. & Marion (Bard) Preston.
Marion was a graduate of Highgate High School and a life-long resident of the area. Her favorite hobbies included baking cakes, playing bingo, assembling puzzles, and making creations with plastic craft. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her great granddaughter.
She is survived by her son, Norman Cook Jr. and his wife Carol of Fairfield; grandchildren, Jeffery Cook, and Nicole Cook Stetson and her husband Travis; great granddaughter, Evangeline; her sister, Emma Chaplin and her husband Jimmy and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband, Norman Cook Sr.; their infant daughter, Delia Ann Cook; and her brothers, Louis & Elwood Preston Jr.
Marions family would like to thank the Franklin County Health & Rehab Center for the care she received.
A private funeral service will be held at Kidder Memorial Home at her familys convenience. Marion will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Johns Episcopal Cemetery in Highgate.
