Mary "Bunnie" Langlois

SWANTON – Mary Ellen “Bunnie” Langlois, 73, passed away on Friday, December 18^th, 2020

She was born in St. Albans on June 11, 1947 to the late James & Eldora (Douglas) Bushey.

Bunnie graduated from St. Anne’s Academy in 1965. She then married Richard Langlois, June 22^nd 1968, and they had their two children, Mark and Jennifer. She enjoyed knitting sweaters for family and friends, and camping with her husband and children as they grew up. She worked for a few years as a lab technician at the hospital and then took a Job at IBM. Bunnie helped at many local events in the last few years, including open door dinners at Church of the Nativity, Sunday breakfast at the American Legion. She always looked forward to attending grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Langlois of Swanton; their children, Mark Langlois and his wife Cheryl of Franklin, and Jennifer FitzSimmons and her husband Joe of St. Albans; five grandchildren, Katelyn, Samantha, Gage, Rachael, and Emily; one great grandchild, Abigail; a sister, Margaret Bushey of Spring Hill, FL; brother, Doug Bushey and his wife Sue of Venice, FL; and many nieces, nephews and family friends. In addition to her parents, Bunnie was predeceased by her granddaughter, Julia FitzSimmons.

Friends and family are invited to Bunnie’s Life Celebration to include an open house on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 1-2:00 PM followed with a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
