Maxwell Reinholdt

February 20, 1956 — March 17, 2015

Maxwell (Max) Reinholdt, age 59, a resident of Enosburg Falls joined the angels on March 17, 2015, with his loving wife at his side.

Max was born in New Britain, CT on February 20, 1956. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam era and was a member of the American Legion, Post 42 of Enosburg Falls. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC and then Okinawa, Japan.

Max eventually moved to VT and married the love of his life, Tammy Lumbra. They shared many lasting memories together. In addition to his wife of 23 years, Max leaves his three step daughters and their families, Michelle, her husband Eric McEnany and their son Dylan from Sheldon, Jaime Willoughby and her daughters Jalyn, Peyton, and Savannah from Highgate, and Amanda Tatro from VT. Max also leaves his brother John, from ME and his daughter, Diane from CT; his brother James from CT; a sister, Martha, from NY, his mother and father in-law, Shirley and Rayburn Donna; his sister and brother in-laws, Linda and Arnold Mercy, Cindy and Donald Lowell, Dianna and Kevin Sylvester, and Sue and Gabe Paquette.

Max enjoyed his grandchildren, he always said they made his life complete. He especially enjoyed his time with his granddaughter, Peyton. She melted his heart from the day she was born. She watched wrestling with him and they had many talks while she sat on the arm of his chair. His favorite day was when they made waves in the pool Papa, you make waves, then I make waves, then you make waves, then I make wavesokay? !

Max was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Reinholdt, his oldest brother, Ron, and his golfing buddy, Gaysford The Chief Martinson who he considered the father never he had.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 from 3-6 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls. A memorial service and military honors will follow in the funeral home at 6:00 PM with Pastor Al Lamos officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maxs memory may be made to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network (LACN), 198 Farr Ave., Morrisville, VT 05661.
