ST. ALBANS - Melodie A. Therrien, age 52, passed away on March 14, 2020, at her home in St. Albans surrounded by her family.
She was born in St. Albans on January 26, 1968 to Raymond Paquette and the late Ruth (Coward) Paquette.
Melodie married the love of her life, Lawrence Therrien Jr. in 1996. She and Lawrence worked together at the Vermont Egg Farm. She was a very open-hearted woman, and absolutely adored her grand babies. Bambi, the family dog has been a loyal companion to Melodie for years. She was an avid Nascar fan and loved both Earnhardt drivers! Christmas was Melodies favorite holiday to celebrate, she loved to bake goodies for her family to enjoy, and she loved to display her collection of snowmen.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Therrien Jr. of St. Albans; children, Cory Paquette and his fianc Nicole Stevens of St. Albans, Eugene Bessette Jr. of Enosburg Falls, Lawrence E. Therrien III of St. Albans, Jennifer Therrien and her companion Chris Lacoss of Milton; grandchildren, Chloe Paquette, Paisley Paquette, Camdyn Paquette, Elliot Clougherty, Daryll L. Young-Aube, Arizona Lacoss; her father, Raymond Paquette and his wife Janet; siblings, Stacy Oestrike, Mary Martell and her husband, Dwight, Peter Paquette; and mother-in-law, Elaine Therrien. Melodie was predeceased by her mom, Ruth in 2007.
Due to current circumstances, a memorial service will be held at a later time at Kidder Memorial Home.
