ENOSBURGH - Mildred R. Blanchard, age 55, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning February 6, 2007 at her home.
\tShe was born January 28, 1952 in Bakersfield the daughter of the late Elvin G. & Zoa L. (Wright) Sweet.
\tMildred was a hard worker and for the past 29 years worked as a farm hand for Jim & Suz-Anne Carpenter in Enosburg. She enjoyed horses, cats, fish and going to lawn sales. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews and their families.
\tShe is survived by her husband, Steve Blanchard of Enosburg, they were married April 19, 1969; her siblings, Melvin Sweet of Enosburg, Herbert Sweet of Sheldon, Edward Sweet and his wife Sherry of St. Albans, and Doris Wedge and her husband Kevin of Addison; her sisters-in-law, Sharlene Sweet of Enosburg, Beatrice Spencer of Sutton, Que., Barbara Gerrow of Coventry, and Pauline Sweet of Richford; her brother-in-law, Roland Blanchard and his wife Shirley of Newport; and her many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Chester Sweet.
\tIn keeping with Mildreds wishes there will be no funeral services or visiting hours. A graveside memorial service will be announced at a later date which will be held next spring at the Egypt Cemetery in East Fairfield.
