Nora L. Unwin

SWANTON - Nora Lillian Unwin, a lifelong resident of Swanton, Vt, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the age of 83, with her two nieces, Mary Beaulieu, and Jewels Berry by her side.

Nora was born in Swanton, on August 29, 1938, daughter of the late Donald and Barbara (Minkler) Morgan.

Nora married Eugene Unwin in 1956, and they had two children. She worked at Union Carbide then Energizer until she retired. She had a Ceramic shop for years in her home. She enjoyed socializing and teaching ceramics to people. She enjoyed crafting with her mom. She had a camp on Maquam Shore where she enjoyed being with her family.

She leaves behind a sister, Ramona Cline and her husband Spencer; brother, Eddy Morgan Sr. and his wife Debbie; brother, James Morgan; grandson, Eric Wolcott; two granddaughters Erin Wolcott and Angela Unwin; great grandsons, Eric Wolcott Jr. and Hunter Wolcott; and a great granddaughter, Ava Cassidy. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene in 1997; her son, Eugene Unwin Jr. in 1990; her daughter, Donna Wolcott in 2022; and her siblings, Norma Morgan, Joyce Durenleau, Donald Morgan Jr., and Bruce Morgan Sr.

The family will be holding a private Life Celebration.
