RICHFORD - Norman Charles Fletcher, age 74, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at the St. Albans Health & Rehabilitation Facility.
He was born on October 2, 1937 in Berkshire to Glenna (Deuso) and Erwin Fletcher.
Norman raised his children in Danbury, CT where he worked at Danbury Building and Lumber for more than 20 years before returning to Richford.
Norman is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gwendolyn and his three children, Lisa (Kevin) Celello of Dandridge, TN, Norman Fletcher of Watertown, CT, and Kelly (Stephen) Richardson of Watertown, CT; five grandchildren, Kimber and Payne Celello, AJ Morrissey, and Kasey and Spencer Richardson; as well as his sister-in-law, Bonnie Boatwright, whom he raised from childhood. Norman is predeceased by a stepson, Kevin Fletcher.
Also surviving hi are his siblings, Alice Workman, Dale (Sandra) Fletcher, Judy Williams, Gary Fletcher, Debra (Dennis) MacAuly, and Randy (Kim) Fletcher; sisters-in-law, Kathy Fletcher and Shirley Fletcher; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, Erwin Fletcher, Richard Fletcher and Diane Fletcher.
Normans family wishes to thank the staff at St. Albans Health and Rehabilitation for the care that he received.
As per Normans wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements for cremation are being handled by the Spears Funeral Home.
