WEST BERKSHIRE - Pamela Jeannie Hamilton, age 64, passed away Thursday morning, January 28, 2010 at her home with her family at her side following a courageous battle with cancer..

She was born May 14, 1945 in Burlington, VT the daughter of the late Joseph O. & Elizabeth Betty (McNally) Greene.

Jeannie was a resident of West Berkshire for the past 30 years. She was employed at the Montgomery School House Toy Factory for 10 years and then at I.B.M. for 17 years retiring in 2001. She enjoyed quilting, playing BINGO and going out to eat.

She is survived by her husband, William Bill Hamilton Sr. of West Berkshire. Jeannie & Bill were married August 1, 1964 and enjoyed 45 years of marriage. She is also survived by her children, B.J. Hamilton Bill Jr . of West Berkshire, Kathy Westcom her husband David and their children, Kayla, Alayna & Jaren of Bakersfield, and Brian Hamilton his wife Angel and their children, Colby & Devon of Richford; her siblings, Joseph E. Greene and his wife Luz of the Philippines, Rodney Greene of Las Vegas, NV, and Patrice Lavalette of Milton; two uncles, William Bill Greene of Enosburg Falls, and Glendon McNally of Cambridge; two aunts, Fannie Maynard of Montpelier, and Roberta McNally of Cambridge; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Besides her parents, Jeannie was predeceased by a brother-in-law, James Lavalette

Jeannies family wishes to thank the staff at the Northwestern Medical Center, Fletcher Allen Health Care and Franklin County Home Health Agency, especially Terri Poirier, Jeannette Bosley and Kimberly Volk.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls. Interment will be later this spring in the East Franklin Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-4 PM at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg Falls.
