Patricia Young

FRANKLIN - Patricia A. Young, age 73, passed away on Friday, October 20th, 2023 in Burlington.

Patricia was born at home on April 11, 1950 to George and Alice (Thompson) Fassett on the family farm that straddled the town line of Sheldon and Enosburg Falls, VT in the same home her father was born in. Patricia was the youngest of her sisters, Marion, Evelyn and Gail.

In 1954 her family relocated to Alburgh, VT where Patricia graduated from High School. Patricia married Nelson Bowbrick on July 5, 1980. Nelson passed away on November 9, 1988. Patricia then married Louis Young on October 26, 1995. Louis passed away on September 3, 2020.

Patricia is survived by her nieces and nephews, Susan and Alan Fletcher, Kate and Mike Mashburn and their son Ian, Douglas and Dawn Baker and their daughter Michela; step-children, Louis Young Jr and Brenda. She is also survived by many cousins in Vermont and Canada.

In keeping Patricia's wishes there will be no public services. Her remains will join her husband Nelson Bowbrick at the Riverside Cemetery in Swanton, VT at the convenience of her family.
