Paul St. Germain

HIGHGATE - Paul Henry St. Germain, age 78, passed away Tuesday March 26, 2013 at the Redstone Villa Nursing Home in St. Albans with his family at his side.

He was born February 26, 1935 in Richford the son of the late Paul L. & Dolora G. (Couture) St. Germain.

Paul entered the U.S. Air Force in 1957 serving for 20 years as a diesel generator mechanic, receiving his honorable discharge in 1977 retiring with the rank of Sergeant. Following his retirement from the Air Force he went back to help run the family farm in Berkshire until it was sold in 1996. Paul continued to work with farm machinery His Toys and enjoyed tinkering on engines. He also enjoyed listening to country music.

He is survived by his wife, Marie (Piette) St. Germain of Highgate; his sisters, Madeline Boucher & Carmen St. Germain both of St. Albans; his brothers, Peter St. Germain and his wife Michele of Highgate, Larry St. Germain of West Berkshire, and Patrick St. Germain of Highgate; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Dr. Bernard Boucher.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 152 Main St., Richford with Rev. Karl Hahr celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Monday from 5-7 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
