Paul Andrew Tremblay, (also known to many as PT) passed away suddenly Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 83 at his home in Highgate Center, VT.
Born on April 29,1934, the son of the late William Tremblay and Eva (Duval) Tremblay. He attended Rock River School in Highgate,
Paul owned and operated the family dairy farm for many years with his wife Shirley Lapan Tremblay, who predeceased him and their son Stephen. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Louis Parish. Paul was the rock for his family and a friend to all who knew him.
Paul enjoyed playing pool , cards and reminiscing, country music jamboree, dancing and NASCAR including his favorite driver Carl Edwards.
He is survived by his brothers wife Armande (Laroche) Tremblay, his four children, daughter Ann and husband Marc Dandurand, son John and wife Lorri Tremblay, son David and wife Darleen Tremblay and Steven Tremblay.15 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, and companion of 12 years Nancy Burns.
He was predeceased by his brother Pamphile Tremblay, his brother Hector Joseph Tremblay and his wife Bernadette (Rainville) Tremblay, his sister Jeannette Tarte and her husband Gerard Tarte also, his great granddaughter Adalyn Danni Scott.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church 186 Lamkin St., Highgate Center. Father Luke P. Austin will be the celebrant and homilist. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Tremblay family lot in Saint Louis Cemetery.
Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
