NEWPORT CENTER / RICHFORD - Pauline P. Lucier, age 82, wife of Norman Lucier, passed away Wednesday evening August 31, 2011 at her home in Newport Center with her loving family at her side.
She was born December 5, 1928 in Ways Mills, Quebec Canada the daughter of the late John & Vera (Kezar) Gledhill.
Pauline was a longtime resident of Richford and for the past 2 years Pauline & Norman have made their home in Newport Center with her son and daughter-in-law. She was a bank teller for Valley Trust in North Troy for several years and was also a bank teller for the Franklin Lamoille Bank in Richford retiring after 27 years of employment there. She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, Martha Washington Chapter. Pauline enjoyed swimming, camping, reading, listening to music and knitting.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Lucier; her son and his wife, Rodney & Valerie Lucier; her grandchildren, Micheal & Heather all of Newport Center; her sister, Geraldine Peters of Dixville, Quebec Canada and Geraldines children and their families, Valerie Cardyn husband Paul & Victor Peters and wife Ann; her brother-in-law, Duane Lucier his wife Frances of Jay their children Steve, Mark & Cindy and their families.
In keeping with Paulines wishes she will be cremated and she will be interred in the North Troy Cemetery in a private family ceremony. There will be no visiting hours.
