ENOSBURG FALLS - Philip W. Longe, age 63, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
He was born in St. Albans on April 7, 1956, the son of Wesley and Shirley (Buker) Longe.
Philip grew up in Sheldon and attended Enosburg Falls High School. He worked various jobs throughout his life at Griswold, Harrisons Concrete, Wymans, Lucille Farms for 26 years, Century Arms, and OReilly Auto. Philip also worked as Santa during the holiday season, a job he held near and dear to his heart. He enjoyed snowmobile racing with Longe Brothers Racing, collecting Matchbox cars and Tonka trucks, time spent at car shows with his cherished 1964 Nova and his son Jeremiah, and camping with his family at Lake Elmore. Philip also had a flair for cooking which he shared with his son Hayden. He will be remembered for his warm heart that he tried to hide with his grumpy old man sense of humor.
